ACADEMIC LIFE
FJMHS academic culture has been ranked as the oldest, the most efficient and the best in the region. It has been the best when it comes to teaching and learning. It is one of the very few in the area with qualified personnels in the various area of study as many school in the environment are privately owned and managed. These afford only SSCE holders and retired teachers.

FJMHS has a big litany of experts in all facts of life that passed through her. It has trained state governors, commissioners, chiefs of staff, and many other government officials. It boasts of innumerable Engineers, Medical doctors, Architects, Lawyers etc. within and outside the country.

Numerous clerics and pastors of souls passed through her. In sports too it has been a force to reckon with Emmanuel Emenike and numerous other players that have worn the national colors passed through her.

 FJMHS is notable in the area for her ability to offer what will define her children positively in life. She offers arts and science subjects. It is the only non-seminary school in Nigeria that offers Latin language till date. For decades now, it has got the best results in WASSCE and NECO in the area, thanks to the effort of her qualified teachers and industrious management.

It has woIt has won iterum iterumque, the Archbishop Valerian Okeke Regional Science competition both in the junior and the senior categories. Recently, one of her students (Udevi J) was one of the best three students in the national Mathematics competition in the upper elementary, chosen to represent the country in Thailand.

STUDENT’S WELFARE
Man is a pneumapsychosomatic being. His development should touch all these facets of life, spirit, soul and body.
FJMHS seeks the total well-being of her children. She has sports facilities for the physical development of her students ranging from football field, volleyball courts, tennis courts and table tennis boards inter-alia. Immaculate heart hospital in Aguleri is owned and managed by the catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha. It is one of the best Facility wise in the state. It is a stone throw away from the school.  This hospital offers immediate treatment to our sick students without the usual hospital protocols.  The school pays the bills immediately and retrieves it from the parents later.

FJMHS also have an infirmary run by qualified staff nurses who offers first aid treatments to the students.

FJMHS hasFJMHS has three functional boreholes built by the Archbishop of Onitsha and the Anambra State Government. It also has numerous resources where water is discharged to serve every nook and cranny of the school as well as the toilets and bathroom. The students make use of water cistern and showers.

With the handover of the school back to their original owners, FJMHS assumes the status-quo-ante. Priests were deployed to manage and direct as pastors of souls. Fr. Luke Omaliko assumed this duty. He handed over this baton to Rev. Fr. Izuchukwu Anthony Okoye. Under his guidance, the school has tremendously made giant strides spiritually and otherwise.

Presently, the student observes the weekly Thursday Moral Instructions. Holy masses take place on Friday morning assembly. The boarders celebrate masses on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays. They do attend other sacraments frequently. The last sacrament of confirmation we had in the school was on the 6th of December 2015, officiated by Francis Cardinal Arinze.The school have many clubs that foster intellectual development. They are QUIZ CLUBS, DEBATE CLUB, JET CLUB, SCIENCE CLUB, etc. we periodically engage in intra and inter school competition in these fields.
